Speaking out about their strongest subsidiary's unnanounced MMORPG title, Activision Blizzard claims that the new title will bring fourth an even stronger fanbase.Blizzard Entertainment is known as a tightly-secured Fortress of Solitude, with no information leaving the outer walls of their confidentiality. Only at the end of June did information slip about the third World of Warcraft expansion being entitled "Cataclysm". This follows a policy that Blizzard holds of letting no indications about a title and its themes being revealed until at least the eleventh hour. This all applies to Blizzard's unnanounced MMORPG that currently entails vague descriptions of something different than and better than World of Warcraft.
In the latest of infrequent descriptions of the new title is that the game will hopefully bring in a wider audience. Yesterday, in San Francisco, at the Deutsche Bank Securities Technology Conference, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick explained, "What we've announced at Blizzard is that we have Starcraft II coming, Diablo has been in production... and a new, unannounced MMORPG that has a little more broad appeal."
After much speculation and debate, the unnanounced MMO was admitted to being in development on December 11, 2007. The underlining feature about this game was that it would not be a sequel to World of Warcraft or a game that functions in their currently-supported MMO's manner. To ensure that this game would meet, in the very least, the same success of World of Warcraft, the company switched the game's director, Jeff Kaplan over to the new MMO, after Wrath of the Lich King was secure.
Considering Blizzard's current endeavor to compact World of Warcraft and Battle.net into a tightly-knit knot, this MMO will likely be introduced with improved Battle.net 2.0 capabilities. Kotick discussed how Battle.net 2.0 may bring in real-world currency in the future, bringing fourth the possibility of the MMO's Battle.net support.

Seems that it might actually be a scifi type game like star wars old republic. They seem to want to compete with Bioware.
