SK Gaming's new CoD4 Xbox 360 side have proven their critics wrong early on by beating the old H2k-Gaming team in the ConsoleGaming Ultimate SnD tournament final. Substitute for the final, Scott 'Mak' Brass, has also been announced as the newest member to the side for all upcoming LAN events.

The new SK Gaming CoD4 360 side have celebrated their first month in their new organisation by winning European console competition website ConsoleGaming's first ever Ultimate Search & Destroy tournament. In turn the win has secured the side's first tournament victory, albeit online.

SK faced off against the ex-H2k British side who were dropped from H2k-Gaming after only a few days in the team for showing considerable instability. Played as a best of 3 maps match, H2k started strongly but SK fought back to claim the win.

The win topped a successful tournament for SK, to which SK Gaming's Daniel 'GodLike' Beames commented:

"Well, what can I say? So far in SK we've completely dominated our recent games, with an 11 win streak alone under SK's name. And winning this just added to the list. Not a hugely shined upon tournament, but nevertheless, still a fantastic win for my team. But to make it even better, we had our new player Mak playing for us, which sealed his spot in our LAN team."

As the above indicates, sub player Scott 'Mak' Brass has also been announced as the newest addition to the side with Norwegian player Joakim 'LuDo' Aasgaard unable to attend upcoming LAN events. Mak was excited to be joining up with his new team-mates:

"After my team split following our departure from The Imperial, I knew I had to start looking for a new team. SK Gaming's XBOX360 COD4 side had always looked massively appealing to me, even when I was back in Imperial, so after a few words with BisseLL we decided we'd see how the teamwork was, and I'm glad to say the team gelled almost instantly; I'm confident we will be a major contender to win the up coming LAN at ESGN. Finally I want to say how much of an honour it is to be playing for such a prestigious team as SK-Gaming."
