mTw.dk's Danny 'zonic' Sørensen has published a blog on the mymtw site discussing the last few months and the upcoming push towards the end of the year. zonic outlines the LANs mTw will be attending and their heavy practice schedule to get into good shape for them. The Dane also gives some information from his perspective about the recent ESL SuperCup which saw his team place 2nd. He speaks of "Germany’s little darling number one, Mousesports" who defeated his team in the final in a close three map affair.

Regarding mTw.dk's matchup against SK.swe and the effect it has had on the team's drive he writes:

Playing in a team with fan favourite AWPer Sunde and one of world's most versatile players in whiMp it's perhaps unsurprising zonic does not dominate the spotlight. His role in the last 2 years has been that of a solid rifleman who uses his veteran smarts to win rounds for the team. What newer fans may be unaware of though is the transition period he underwent to assume this role. In previous times playing for Asylum, SK.dk and NoA (the previous name of what is now mTw.dk) zonic was very much one of the key stars within the team, not to mention one of the top 2-3 players in Denmark at all times.

With SK.dk zonic placed 2nd at ESWC in 2005 but it was his move to NoA which propelled him to superstar status and bigger things in the long run. Playing with a core which revolved around zonic and AWPer hpx NoA found themselves capable of competing with the elite teams but falling short before taking down the big placings. That all changed as Sunde came into the team and had an incredible debut which spurred the team on to a 2nd at ESWC in 2007. Following the departure of hpx and the recruitment of whiMp the pieces of mTw.dk, as they were called by then, immediately clicked into place and in 2008 they were the best team in the world in many people's opinions. Their victories at Kode5, ESWC Masters Paris and WEM that year certainly seem to back that view up.
