The games and prize purse distribution for the upcoming ESL Major Series V have been announced. This is the top level league ESL run outside of the Extreme Masters. For those esports disciplines which aren't included in the Extreme Masters the highest level of competition available from ESL is the Major Series, the fifth season of which is upcoming. With €15,000 in total prize money, 10 team disciplines and four 1on1 the season sees a little of something for everyone seemingly.
The games featured, and their total prize purse, are:

The games of most interest to us here at SK-gaming, relatively speaking, are Counter-Strike Female, Quake Live and FIFA 09. The prize breakdowns for those games are as follows:

1st 750€
2nd 450€
3rd 300€

Interestingly Quake Live will be getting a run as TDM (Team DeathMatch) which is good news for hardcor Quake fans as TDM has always been considered one of the elite esports disciplines and exciting for spectaters.
