The exhibit will be at the 'Yours gallery' in Warsaw, Poland.Opening on Septmber 3rd and running until October 25th at the 'Yours gallery' at Krakowskie PrzedmieĊcie 33 in Warsaw, Poland, will be an exhibit of portraits of professional gamers and their rooms.
The work of a photographer called Bownik the exhibit is described as an "analysis of Cyber Enviroment and people who constitute it". Among the famous faces on display from the Polish esports scene will be ex-WICKED star and two time ESWC champion Filip 'NEO' Kubski. From the world of Quake there's boy wonder and also ESWC champion Maciej 'av3k' Krzykowski. Finally you can also see esports award winning journalist Michal "Carmac" Blicharz.
More can be read about the project, for polish speakers, via an interview with the creator, at this location. According to the interview the artist has found inspiration in the following books: Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash", William Gibson's "Neuromancer" and Pat Cadigan's "Synners".
With such a fascination in the cyberpunk genre it is unsurprising the phenomenon of professional gaming has caught his eye.
