ImageA new course has open its doors at the College of Arts in Seoul. Nal_rA, previously a professional StarCraft player and MBC Game commentator, is to become the first esports teacher of this course.

MBC Game is a South Korean subscription television station which broadcasts esports events of the following games all day long: StarCraft, Warcraft III, FIFA, Counter-Strike, Winning Eleven, Age of Empires III and Dead or Alive. It is popular in Asia for having broadcasters which have a high knowledge of one, or multiple, of the games and the general esport scene.

Kang Min, also known as Nal_rA, is one of those broadcasters for MBC Game. He used to be a professional Starcraft player himself until September 2008 when he quit his professional gaming life due to not being able to meet the expectations of the fans. He has since then, for approximately a year, been working for MBC Game which he now in turn, quits, to become one of the world's first "esports teacher[s]" in a Korean Institute.

The program at the College of Arts, Seoul, consists of teaching the students about esports, gaming, game scheduling and the marketing around it. It is said that Kang Min will also be giving away "tactical" lessons of Starcraft in order to better understand and work with the game.

His teaching career is due to start in 2010 according to fomos.kr. What the requirements are for the course is not yet known.
