Turmoil acquires ex-Gravitas.cs
After last week's closure of the Gravitas gaming organization and release of its CS team they have found a home in a familiar place: Turmoil.

After last week's closure of the Gravitas gaming organization and release of its CS team they have found a home in a familiar place: Turmoil.At the beginning of the month Gravitas pulled the plug on its organization, foreshadowing that move with the release of its well known American Counter-Strike 1.6 team. That side has wasted little time finding a new name to play under as they have returned to Turmoil for the upcoming GameGune Mexico event.
Due to the team's time as x3o from December of 2007 to October of 2008 and Gravitas from then until now casual observers may be unaware that this move doesn't come entirely out of the blue. The core of the team which became x3o was known as Turmoil before then and of the most current lineup three members have played under the organization. Those players are Ediz "goodfornothing" Basol, Derrick "impulsive" Truong and Joe "Perez". At the time though the team's marquee name player was veteran Matt "PaTyoJoN" Iantosca.
About the return to the Turmoil name Ediz "goodfornothing" Basol told GotFrag:

"it was so important for us to find someone that could send us to those events. We really wanted to go to as many tournaments as possible and it would be terrible to miss two big ones that are so close to home for us. I went to Bruin for some help and then he came up with the idea that we should go as Turmoil to these two events."
