Bruno "bit" Lima, also known as "bit1", has rejoined MiBr. He is replacing Arthur "prd" Resende, at the behest of the other players in the lineup. The ex-tactical leader of the post-cogu era MiBr Bruno "bit" Lima has rejoined the team he was dismissed from in December of 2008. Despite having been an integral component of MiBr due to his tactical role bit was sent packing when Carlos “KIKOOOO” Segal, who was overseeing the team, made the decision he would replace Lima in the starting lineup. That move saw bit head to MiBr's chief rivals, FireGamers, where he teamed up with other ex-MiBr players.
Regarding the move MiBr's site is reporting that according to Guilherme "spacca" Spacca this decision was arrived at by the players themselves.
The latter part of 2008 saw internal struggles tearing MiBr apart from seemingly all directions. The MiBr owner sent out an open letter criticizing his team's performances and threatening consequences if the team remained unable to convert tournament attendances into victories. After leaving the team Lima revealed in an interview that the other members had wanted to remove Raphael 'cogu' Camargo entirely. Ironically the lineup they had intended to go with ended up becoming FireGamers' lineup in early 2009 with the exception of one player.
MiBr's fortunes took a noticable downturn in 2009 as they struggled to find form at the EM III global finals finishing a paltry 11th-12th in the standings. A 5th-8th at Kode5's global finals did little to improve matters as SK-gaming sent them out in a 2 maps to 1 victory.
Those results and difficulties remaining the number one team domestically were reflected in a series of different roster moves in the search for a working lineup. fnx was cut and went to FireGamers in February with personal differences playing with AWP ace cogu cited as the basis behind one of the country's best players getting the axe. Guilherme "spacca" Spacca was brought in as his replacement. In March KIKOOOO was removed and in came Arthur "prd" Resende while Renato 'nak' Nakano voluntarily removed himself and his spot was taken by under-appreciated AWPer Wellington "ton" Caruso.
