The Observer is reporting that Premiership side Stoke City play online "war games" together such as Gears of War and Call of Duty in their spare time.According to an article published today on The Observer's website some of the professional footballers of Stoke City, who currently sit 5th in the Premier League's standings with 7 points, have been bonding over online "war games".
Right winger Liam Lawrence, who currently remains scoreless in his 4 appearances this season, said:

With its talk of "war games", "fierce jousting" and "military-style strategy" the article has a rather quaint but amusing perspective on online gaming to say the least.
