Fredrik "Madfrog" Johansson, Zdravko "Insomnia" Georgiev and Björn "ElakeDuck" Ödman find themselves pitted against each other in the group stage of the Trophy of Legends.

They will be joined by Jae Park 'EvenStar' Lee, meaning four of the five former SK Gaming player competing in the competition have been drawn into the same group, with tower expert Christopher 'Tak3r' Heil and Bulgarian Dimitar 'DIDI8' Aleksandrov filling the last two remaining spots in Group C.

Meanwhile the SK Gaming player of the current generation and recent BlizzCon winner, June 'Lyn' Park, is grouped with former team-mate Sung Sik 'ReminD' Kim, the Korean Laurel and Hardy Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom and Chul Woo 'Shy' Park, along with Xiang 'TH000' Huang and Sung Hyun 'Space' Park. The first matches of the Trophy of Legends kick off this Wednesday, with Bjarke 'Bjarke' Rasmussen versus Minh 'Spell' Nguyen the opening match.

Well the oldschool vs oldschool matches will be fun but I can't see any of the older players beating the current pro players without a long training period.

Madfrog is not going to do anything. Like the others old school too. MEN, thats the reason because they all were paired on same groups. Because Old schoolds cannot beat new schools. They have not played the game since years ago...

I agree the Oldschool's chances of beating anyone from the active players are pretty slim,but you're getting ahead of yourself.The only thing the oldschoolers will have trouble with is micro,which is,despite of what you may think or have heard,is far from being the most important thing in this game.

With the level of skill that they have, they need like 1 week practise to get their micro speed back again....

On top of that, the maps that are going to be used are out of usage for years.Lucifron,Space,Shy, Th000 were far away from the pro-gaming scene when these maps were used.Lucifron sayed that he plays wc3 since 2006, which means that he hasnt even laddered Two rivers, Plunder Island and Tranquil Paths

I hope Farseer and Sweet make it, I mean, I remember their games and I just loved Farseer playing with Farseer and Sweet playing with mass fiend...

At least we will se an actual undead besides Fov/Space (and not a fat kid russian) and an actual orc who will surely use farseer.
