A video games festival by the name of "Le Festival Du Jeu Vidéo" has been announced in Paris, France. A couple of announcement concerning certain games are expected.

The Gamescom in Cologne this year was a big hit where 458 game companies were present from over 31 countries, exhibiting over 150 new games. The Video Games Festival in Paris will be a "smaller version of Gamescom", with over 70 000 visitors expected.

Nothing has been said yet as to whether anything new will be announced but jeuxvideo.fr says that "if everything goes well, a numerous amount of surprises will be in store for us". The event will take place from the 18th to the 20th of September in Paris at the Porte de Versailles.
