June "Lyn" Park and Jang Jae "Moon" Ho won their semi-final matches at WCG Korea to secure their places at the World Cyber Games 2009.The pair were forced to forfeit their participation at the ESWC Open Game in Ma'anshan in China this weekend due to their WCG Korea match dates conflicting with the tournament. June 'Lyn' Park remains undefeated throughout the entire tournament so far taking a 2-0 victory over former team-mate and pupil Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim to earn his ticket to WCG2009, whilst Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang seized a 2-0 victory against Du Seop 'WhO' Chang.
The rest of the tournament will still be played out with Lyn and Moon fighting it out in the Grand Final which remains a best-of-3 format, with Twisted Meadows, Turtle Rock and Melting Valley the chosen maps. Meanwhile Who and ViOlet will now fight for the final WCG spot in a makeshift consolation final.
