Matt "Warden" Dickens and Ron "Rambo" Kim will be discussing whether the rules of competitive Counter-Strike need to be changed to improve the scene on The Schet List. The Schet List is a gaming radio show hosted by Jeff "Smeagol" Dickinson - who used to work at ITG with DjWheat and casted tournaments like World War3 - and Schetter.
The Topic - Does competitive CS need its rules to be changed
If it's allowed online with Ventrilo, why should it not be allowed on LAN and at tournaments? Does duck-jumping fundamentally change the game? These tough questions and many, many more will be on the table as we learn what our special guests, Ron "Rambo" Kim (X3, 3D, coL) and (GB, coL, EG), think about making some changes to the rule set."
Much like DJWheat's Liveon3, users are encouraged to call into share their views, so if you find yourself awake tommorrow night at 11:30pm ET then you can have your say by adding callTGBF to your skype contact list. Otherwise to catch the show live go to TGBF.tv.

"Do we need to extend roundtime, or shorten it? What about allowing ghosting? "
Jeff "Smeagol" Dickinson: "The topic: the rules of CS and whether some changes to the rules would be beneficial to the competitive scene. Was Midway right about the changes he proposed? Other then that I should keep the most as it is.
In my personal view of the rules as such do not require major changes would attract only those who are interested !
I agree with the assertion that it is necessary to raise the number of maps in 2 or 3 times !
I think this idea on the level ground, it is better to take care of the globalization and popularization of CS and eSport in general !
In any case, it is always pleasant and interesting, when the old masters say and think about the future !
Good Luck in idea !
CTs camping out a round in a darkest corner of dust sure is fucking exciting to watch...
if ghosting isn't that, someone explain me please. thx
take a look at starcraft with it's 250 maps in competetive play, it's what makes the game so good for competition. makes players adapt, not just master the same fucking thing on lost temple over the years.
make EM IV finals on de_chateau kk?
The weapons are fine but the graphics really need a lift. It would be so damn good if they could change it to the better and still have the same ragdoll system that's in place now.
A jungle map would be cool.
