The ESL European Nations Championship is still running and Germany beat Poland this morning. Both teams brought the best players of their country which made it a beautiful game to watch and even though the score of the first map doesn't seem too close, the match itself was. Germany beat Poland with 16-10 on de_dust2 which gave Poland the opportunity to choose the second map being de_nuke which is also the favorite map of the former Wicked team.

Germany started on the CT side going up high with 12-3 into the second half. Poland had to step up right away to even be able to force a third map which they did. They were able to force the match into overtime which was then won by Germany advancing to the Grand Final.

The second match of the day was Sweden vs France also with their All-Star lineups even though Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg isn't able to attend the event. The first map was de_inferno which usually is a strong Sweden map but the French players seemed to be on top of their game in this first map of the match winning with 16-14. Sweden chose to play de_nuke afterwards and made it a rather quick map with 16-9 as well as France third map choice de_train was a rather easy match, winning with 16-6.

The match of the day is now the Grand Final between the champion Sweden and local team Germany as the match is of course taking place at the Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. You can expect a top-class Counter-Strike match starting very soon with the crowd going wild cheering for their team. Don't miss this match and follow it on ESL-TV with English live commentary.
