June “Lyn” Park has reached the Grand Final of BlizzCon putting him one win away from retaining his title.June 'Lyn' Park took 1st at last year’s BlizzCon and will face either Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen or Deok Man 'SocceR' Youn in the overall final. Lyn has already beaten both of them in the upper bracket, with a 2-1 win against Grubby in the second round and 2-0 victory versus Soccer in the upper-bracket final. In the match versus SocceR, Lyn amassed a vast selection of items which included both vampiric and unholy aura, the two best auras he could hope to pick up.
Furthermore intelligence items allowed his Tauren Chieftain to have over 500 mana and level three shockwave, versus SoCCer’s druids of the talons. SoCCeR pulled off an epic shockwave dodge with his talons, but the overwhelming Orc army of Lyn coupled with his superior items forced him to admit defeat.
Elsewhere in the brackets the two Americans Nikolaus 'SonKiE' Cassidy and Phil 'LongWalk' Crawford were the first to be eliminated, followed by Nikita 'Nicker' Pomadov and Blizzard European Regionals winner Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán. Meanwhile Shy took fourth place after a 2-0 defeat to Grubby in the lower-bracket final.
