The Korean WCG Qualifiers are single elimination as usual which means one of them will be shown the door after their match in the secound round. Both players did not qualify for the Grand Finals last year but a win for either of them would put them extremely close to qualifying.

's hopes of WCG qualification with a 2-1 win against him in round one. Moon struggled in previous WCG installments but took silver last year after losing to his MYM team-mate at the time, Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen, in the Grand Final.
