Even though both teams are already qualified for the World Cyber Games 2009 in China, the grand final still had an impact as only the winning team gets travel and accommodation paid. But after exciting semi finals the grand final wasn't as intense anymore which could be due to the teams being up for the whole day already.

Fnatic didn't seem to have too much problems taking on H2k Gaming on both de_dust2 and de_inferno. The maps finished rather quick with 16-9 and 16-8 in favor of fnatic placing them first. Still it is a great success for H2k Gaming coming in second and qualifying for the World Cyber Games 2009.
