ImageThe preliminary event for Extreme Masters' fourth season is just a week away. Tonight saw the list of teams released on ESL TV.

With the tournament kicking off next Thursday, ESL announced the team list for the first Extreme Masters event earlier this evening. The news came on the last ever WoW Wednesdays show via ESL TV.

SK Gaming SANSIBAR will get their first chance to shine on LAN in a tough Group B. They will face a baptism of fire, going up against last season's European champions, iNNERFiRE in the first group stage. But perhaps they will find the huge German presence comforting as four of the eight teams will be from the host country.

The full list of teams reads like this:

Group A
Ensidia
against All authority Rat
NOP Squad
Payback Time

Group B
SK Gaming SANSIBAR
iNNERFiRE
plan-B
Landoo

Although many of those team names are unfamiliar, the players in them are well known. A lot of players have retired or moved teams in the off-season, including the retirement of 'RedH' . He will be replaced by former eDawgs player, Thomas 'Flyn' Kogler after that team's recent disbandment. Apparent newcomers, Who Run It QL is actually the remnants of the old SKY lineup with another former eDawgs star, Daisy Duke. Even LAN veterans aAa didn't escape the downtime without losses. They swapped Eugene 'Anelit' Kviatkevitch for up-and-coming priest, Ugo 'Thorkin' Paci

The first ever IEM Supercup begins on Wednesday 18 and you can follow the entire tournament right here on SK-Gaming.
