LiilD.C: "I don't like being compared with Creo"

ImageDaniel "LiilD.C" Claesson talks about his "progamer year", his plans for the near future and shares his thoughts on Sweden's ENC defeat.

"NGL ONE was not on the top of my list to win every game"
Daniel 'LiiLD.C' Claesson is coming to the end of his "progamer year" as his university life begins next month, which could spell the end of his gaming career but LiilD.C said to Fragster.de "I do not know yet if it will end there or if I will be able to continue."

He did however, mention that he will pursue his interest in handball, as he reduced his activity in the popular Scandinavian sport in order to concentrate on Warcraft3.

LiilD.C managed to win EPS.SCA and Dreamhack Summer but did not fair so well in the NGL ONE finishing 16th out of 21 players, with 8 wins out of 20 games. The Swede admits to not focusing on the competition as he believed he would not be able to challenge for a playoff spot.

"I just did not put down enough time on practise to beat everyone I played. [...] NGL ONE was not on the top of my list to win every game, because I saw my chances of winning money there as pretty low," said LiilD.C. "So I did not want to reveal too much in my games in NGL, instead focus on other tournaments I played."

"Also I noticed pretty fast that playing 24/7 was not my thing at all. I am more a guy that likes to study opponents' replays and my own replays instead of playing a massive amount of games."

When quizzed on Sweden's failure to win the ENC title and asked what went wrong Liild.C had only one word to reply, "Orc". "We got slaughtered by Grubby and KnOfF was in Turkey so we lost the 2on2 too. The new system didn't favour us at all since we got many good players."
