Orc dominates Zotac statistics

ImageKoozin from the GosuGamers forum has compiled a list of Zotac statistics that most readers will find unsurprising.

Over on the GosuGamers forum Kaloyan 'kOoZiN' Iliev has put together a list of all the winners from the previous 98 Zotac cups. The racial results are surprisingly only by their lack of surprises. Orc tops the charts with 43 wins - that's almost half of the total Zotac cups. Nightelf comes in second place with an impressive 30 victories. Undead and human managed just 15 and ten respectively.

Korea is first when it comes to nationalities with a hugely impressive 51 wins. The Netherlands is way behind in second place, thanks to Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen's 11 victories. Never the less, the estars champion is ahead of the game for player victories with those 11 wins. Fellow orc player, Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom is close behind with 9, followed by former SK-players Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim and Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim in third and fourth places.

Only two undead players have managed more than two victories (Samuli 'Elfittaja' Sihvonen and Sung Hyun 'Space' Park) and just a single human has managed to earn himself a treble: that feat went to Jin Woo 'Resolver' Lee. In fact, not a single human player won the cup between weeks 53 (Resolver) and 95 (). However, it should also be noted that many of the top human players have rarely or never even entered the Zotac Cup.

With two cups left until the 100 mark, the apparent imbalances seem unlikely to change by the time the century comes up. But after Marcus 'Thorzain' Eklöf won #98, perhaps he can at least close the gap between the bottom two races. In doing so, he would become the first human since Mihail 'XyLigan' Ryabkov (#12 and #13) to complete back-to-back wins.
