WoW.com is reporting that Ozzy Osbourne will indeed appear on stage at Blizzcon later this month. The former Black Sabbath singer appears on the DirecTV listings for the event.

The Prince of Darkness famously appeared in one of the TV commercials (available below) having a shouting match with the narrator and Arthas himself. Now that famous voice will take center stage at Blizzcon although what his appearance will entail remains to be seen.

WoW.com's reporter has his fingers crossed for a live performance and that isn't beyond the realms of possibility. The original rumour was started by Ozzy's guitarist, Zakk Wylde claiming that the two would appear at Blizzcon together. With that now confirmed, a performance seems likely. Some commentators are expecting that we will even see a "battle of the bands" style event between Ozzy and Blizzard's own L80ETC.
