The Finnish Counter-Strike 1.6 squad astralis has decided to join the Portuguese organization Excello.

Excello decided to release its Finnish Counter Strike squad consisting of the likes of Matti 'SPIKEONE' Järvinen, Joona 'natu' Leppänen as well as Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen almost one year ago due to disappointing performance both nationally and internationally.

However, the Portuguese organization Excello decided to sign the Finnish team again, seeing the ex-astralis playing under its tag from now on. Jirga "jiGetus" Ryhti had the following to say:

"We are thrilled to be a part of Excello. Today marks the day of us getting better support which will help us improve our playing level in many ways. Hopefully we'll be able to help expand the Excello name in the seasons to come."

The team will now be playing at WCG 2009 Finland, where the winner of the Finnish WCG qualification will head out to the grand finals in Chengdu, China.
