As we reported earlier, GameGune Mexico will take place September 10-13 at La Aldea Digital Party in Mexico City, Mexico and will have a similar prize pool as the €22,500 awarded in Bilbao, Spain.

The event, however, will only feature 16 teams this time with the format being a Best of Three Double-Elimination bracket.

GameGune Mexico is likely to attract the top North and South American Counter-Strike squads, as well as a few European teams.

Any team can try to participate by sending an email to gamegune@euskalencounter.org filled with the team and players' names before the end of the deadline, which is on the 21st of August.
