Mousesports needed only three matches to qualify for this years World Cyber Games in Chengdu, China and beat Alternate twice. The WCG National Finals Germany are being hosted at the Games Convention Online in Leipzig right now with several players already being qualified in different games. Now Mousesports is also one of them representing Germany in China later this year.
Due to only six out of eight teams attending the event, both mousesports and Team ALTERNATE had a free-win in the first round. This led to a total of three matches for mousesports where two of them were against Alternate. Both times they beat them with the first one being a more confident 16-7 win while the Grand Final got close with a 16-14.
During the first half it was mousesports having a great comeback after being down 1-5 winning the first half with 8-7. In the second half it was Alternate making their comeback but they were not able to pull it off going on to a second map. Mousesports will now be representing Germany but with a small roster change,
Christian 'Blizzard' Chmiel is replacing Fatih 'gob b' Dayik due to gob being a Turkish citizen and is not allowed to play for Germany.
