there is 1 lan tour for fem and 392842930482042304 male tours ... so pls stfu
Who's arguing the fact that they have a right to play? It aint' like someones preventing them from playing, they're just putting up more male tournaments then female. And why is this? Because the female scene is A LOT smaller and they arent' as good as the guys.
Why not take away the whole "female"-scene and bring them(the women) into the male tournaments? It will become unisex and everyone can face everyone. The women will get better by practicing against men and the scene itself will grow. Works out for everybody!
And about you last bit there about why they don't reduce the 1st-place pricemoney and give some of it to the teams that never win, that's just ridiculous. Then you will see less good/well known teams at the major events. If they don't think it's worth it, then they won't travel to these events. I don't think the key is to reduce the existing amount for the 1st and 3rd place but instead increasing the price money for the, lets say, the teams who come in 4th-10th. That's just an ragid example.
@ FoXy So they will quit because they can´t win prized tournaments due to not being in the same level of play as the current top teams? boohooo... Just because you were born as an female doesn´t mean you are somehow entitled to some sort of quota tournaments of you´r own. I really can´t understand what´s making you think that way. All these "female gaming" tournaments and most of the teams showing up at them out there are about nothing else but marketing their organizers sponsors. It´s hardly anything you should be taking for granted. I dont´t see NHL hosting any icehockey tours with prizepots for turkish players just because they happen to be turkish, why should females be somehow entitled to to their own CS tournaments just because they are females? You need to do it just the same way as everyone else(!!), and the way the current champions have done to reach the podium place, by working hard to reach your goals instead of crying and moaning on SK forums about tournaments that should be held just for you due to the sole reason that you could then win them or you would quit. You really need to pull your head out of your ass and make the unfortunate notion that the world doesn´t spin around you.
As for why the prize money is being given to the teams winning the competitions? Well, giving them to the losing ones wouldn´t make a whole lot sense either. Everyone in there is playing to win, if you don´t have what it takes to win those tournaments and money is the only thing you are concerned about you might just as well think of something more useful things to do with your life.
And yes when the girls have no motivation they wont succeed. its the same for male gamers or u think otherwise? Then go ask the progamers if they would of continued playin for so long if there wasnt tournaments to travel or money from the sponsors/tournaments?
And believe me I would do it if i can get paid for that :) but somehow real life is not only about gaming and many girls still manage to do both gaming and work+ study even if they dont get anything. Something which u cant say about progamers:)
A tear came to my eye when I read this! Couldn't have said it better myself ;D
@ FoXy Do you think men have gotten this good by facing crappy opponents? NO! You must play with and against good (even better sometimes) players to get better yourself. I wonder why women (or girls as you said) can manage both gaming, work and study at the same time. PERHAPS CAUSE THEY AREN'T PLAYING AND IMPROVING THEIR GAME! Seriously, you just owned yourself with that statement. Guys have worked hard to improve and get better, why shouldn't women do the same?
You just want the easy way out. "I don't wanna practice, I wonder why we arent getting any female tournaments". Ya, wonder why! It has taken guys a long time to get where they are today, I'm of course talking about the guys who are progamers today.
I didn´t get what exactly? When it comes to these other sports the physiological differences between men and women come to play, in eSports, which comprises of playing with computer they don´t, so I really don´t see what´s the point.
And what exactly is it that´s stopping females from gaining their motivation to succeed from those same tournament´s and sponsors as their male counterparts, as they have absolutely the same capabilities when it comes to gaming. Or are you saying that females are chronically consideraply worse in computer games than males? Please feel free elaborate with some links to researches etc.
As for the latter point, that´s exactly why they are pro-gamers, gaming is their job which they are getting payed for and they are living out of it. Of course there´s the amateur players with work/school and other real life commitments, who form the majority of the gaming scene with no real differences between males and females there.
I just have to echo my agreement with this. Stop crying on websites and get out there and get good FoXy, or just go do something else, please.
Dont make me write all the things about the physiological differences between men and women. I already did. Ive proven one other "smart guy" that there are such differences and they are directly connected with the sight and reflexes which is the main for cs. go borwse the news and u will find it ;}
yes females are worse in esports. There are few who are or can be as good as men but in general this is impossible.
"Of course there´s the amateur players with work/school " - why arent they competing with the progamers if they are able to do it??? I guess u are one of them. Just posting "wise things" in the forums while u have no idea of what u are talking about.
@Orbie
Men had enuf time to face each other and get better by that. Thats why women need to to the same in the female community. Why did u say crappy opponents? Ur sayin all females are low skilled? I can bet that there are at least 5 teams in only in Europe which can make u feel like 7 years old boy playing basketball with NBA players...
"I wonder why women (or girls as you said) can manage both gaming, work and study at the same time. PERHAPS CAUSE THEY AREN'T PLAYING AND IMPROVING THEIR GAME!" ------- No comment about that
Thats the only option in ur life? "improve in cs or work?" pfhaha
"You just want the easy way out. "I don't wanna practice, I wonder why we arent getting any female tournaments". Ya, wonder why!" -- Who said girls are not praccin ? Who said they r not praccin vs male teams too??? What is an easy way out? Having the opportunity to win money in a tournament?
If I can stay home playin I would do it.
And about girls practicing and facing male teams, if they would play against good male teams all the time, they would improve. Of this im sure. But instead they are just facing the same teams over and over again. The easy way out is playing the guilt card instead of actually improving. "Well we havent had the time to get as good as the guys", that is just a load of bs in my view. If you would play as much as the guys, instead of just complaining, you would get good!
Good Luck Girls !
