Spirit of Amiga qualified for Dreamhack Summer 2009 after winning DreamHack Copenhagen. But the five Danes were eliminated from the group stage in the main tournament after three losses.

Today the management of SoA has decided to change the roster due to internal problems and disappointing results, seeing the departure of Michael 'Friis' Jørgensen, Flemming 'zecer' Pedersen as well as Christoffer 'Noas' Terkelsen. To replace them, Tomas 'xlo' Falden, Troels 'Zoop' Magnussen and Oliver 'DON OLIVER' Sonne have stepped in.

However, given the new roster, the team is being tested now, with the players having one month to prove whether or not they deserve to play under the tag of SoA.

With that being said, the new starting five for Spirit of Amiga is:
