After the Continental Cup with Team East vs West and the Deathmatch on Friday, it was time for the King of the Game tournament where all six teams faced each other. The top four of this have now moved on to the playoffs which will be played in a Single Elimination mode.

A lot of surprising results and matches were played but the four favorites eventually made it through with mTw advancing due to round difference over TyLoo . fnatic have placed first only losing to SK Gaming and a tie against WeMade FOX which creates the first fixture of the playoffs being fnatic vs mTw.

SK Gaming lost twice with the last one being rather surprising getting beaten by k23 on de_dust2. K23 have been playing a great tournament yet they were the underdog for this weekend. WeMade FOX tied twice against fnatic and k23 as well as losing to mTw in the last match. This will be the second fixture for the playoffs, SK Gaming vs WeMade FOX and so far WeMade FOX have beaten SK twice during eStars.

The playoffs are starting on Sunday, 26th July 2009 at 5.30 CET with the Grand Final being scheduled for 11.30 CET. But if you want to get up early, expect delays once again.
