ImageThe British old school player Marc "Mangiacapra" Mangiacapra has returned to the professional competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 scene, playing under the tag of Xtra.

The British legend switched to CGS as a member of the Birmingham Salvo, helping the franchise win the 2008 CGS world finals. However, Mangiacapra went inactive after CGS had closed its doors.

Since it is rumored that ESL is going to host the Counter-Strike 1.6 league in the upcoming EPS United Kingdom season, Mangiacapra finally decided to return, competing with the newly formed Xtra.

Although Xtra has yet to find a sponsor, the players are confident to become the NO.1 team in the country as the ex-4Kings player Phil "Quark" Belhomme told SK Gaming:

"We're just gonna compete in the upcoming EPS.UK league and try do our best, with a bit of practice we should do pretty good I reckon. We're going to practice as much as possible to get our routine back. Obviously our main goal is to dethrone dignitas from the #1 spot in the UK."

In spite of their desire, Quark has denied the possibility of attending GameGune 2009 as PGS' replacement.

"We'll see what the future brings, we might attend a lan or 2 in the UK around september if there's any. we definately won't attend gamegune. Timing is way too short and some of us have a tight schedule and are away on those dates."

Xtra 's lineup looks as follows:

Kal '101' Meek
Harvinder 'dh' Rehinsi
Marc 'Mangiacapra' Mangiacapra
Phil 'Quark' Belhomme
Song 'Song' Kwong
