The online competition which lasted for just over a month drew to a close yesterday as Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen took on Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng in the Grand Final. Grubby had swept aside Dae Hui 'FoV' Cho 3-0 to reach the climactic final, and his 3-1 victory against TeD in the Grand Final marks his fifth consecutive victory against the World Elite player. Grubby had won all four of their previous encounters in individual competitions in 2009, including three wins at the EM III Continental Finals Asia in January, and a 2-1 victory in the NGL ONE Ladder in May.

Elswhere, the consolation final and battle for bronze was between Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang and FoV, and it proved to be a belter with a 3-2 final scoreline and some great matches, in particular Moon's play in the fourth game on Twisted Meadows.
