ImageThe videostream for the upcoming BlizzCon 2009 Grand Final will not be free like the European and US Regionals, and it seems expectant viewers will have to delve in their wallets to watch the show.

For those of you not lucky enough to be a golden ticket holder, and who are hoping to enjoy the tournament from the comfort of our own homes, you will have to fork out $39.95 pay-per-view to view the tournament as well as bonus features.

The Blizzard Regionals in Germany last month had a free video stream provided by ESLTV and streamed through the Blizzard website, but with no mention of a free low-quality stream it could be the only way to enjoy BlizzCon 2009 will be to accept to pay the charges.

The deal is part of a partnership with DirectTV, who also provided for the Championship Gaming Series when it was still in existence. The stream can be ordered starting June 23rd, but the cost could vary dependent on your region. As part of the deal Blizzard are tossing in a BlizzCon 2009-exclusive World of Warcraft in-game pet, Grunty the Murloc Marine.
