The Electronic Sport League RACE07 Pre-Season Cup finally kicks off with the semi-final race tomorrow, the 9th of July 2009. Five SK Gaming pilots successfully managed to qualify themselves for the knock-out stage on the circuit in Brno, Czech Republic.

While the Pre-Season Qualifying took place in the unusual hot sun of England, forecaster expect rainy weather in Brno. And that is the first innovation, racers have to get used to. It was officially announced a few days ago, that the ESL will race under real-life conditions.

According to the qualifying results, the starting grids are seeded into two separate groups. Both groups will compete in an entire raceday including qualifying session and two races. The best of twelve finishers out of the respective racedays will proceed to the grand final in Curitiba at 23 July 2009.
