In spite of clashing dates with eSTARS Seoul 2009, GameGune 2009 still manages to attract some of the top-tier teams from all over the world.

A total of 32 teams will try their luck at GameGune 2009. Today we see three world champions, Wicked, mousesports as well as emuLate in the participants list. All of the three teams were not invited by eSTARS Seoul 2009 despite being nominated, so they are willing to give their headshots in Spain instead of Korea.

Meanwhile, the Norwegian team Vitriolic Gaming, who recruited Sondre 'REAL' Svanevik and Michael 'mikkis' Sokki last month, has confirmed its participation along with Greek Delinquent Habits and Icelandic seven.
