ViOlet targets second zenith in Serious Gaming

ImageFormer SK Gaming player Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim is determined to make a leap forward in his professional gaming career as he joined Serious Gaming today.

The 18-year-old, parted way with SK Gaming this March, will start playing for Serious Gaming on 1 July. The Netherlands outfit said in their press release that they have been monitoring his situation since his rise last year, and finally made a move to land the energetic Orc player today.

Since their return to team leagues like NGL, Serious Gaming had been relying on their sole trio Hjalmar 'DowaQ' Högberg, Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi and Nikolaus 'SonKiE' Cassidy, and a lack of variety within the line-up is increasingly bothersome as they sit barely at the seventh place in NGL Season 6. With WC3L qualifying tournament around the corner, they are in desperate need of such a recruitment.

Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim, in the meantime, is grateful to Serious Gaming for offering him an opportunity and looks to build on his success in the past year, “After departing from SK-Gaming about 3-4 months ago I am really glad that Serious Gaming is giving me the chance to play with them.

"I had some very tough months when our house was burned down, but now everything is fixed and I can focus on my gaming career again. I will do the best I can for srs, and will work hard to get much better. I am happy to join a very strong team and hope that we can achieve our goals.”
