Quake2009 with over $60,000 in cash and prizes
id Softwares yearly event, Quakecon, has been announced today. They have also announced their new location called Gaylord Texan, which will be held from the 13th until the 16th of August, 2009.

id Softwares yearly event, Quakecon, has been announced today. They have also announced their new location called Gaylord Texan, which will be held from the 13th until the 16th of August, 2009.id Software have today given answers on a couple of rumors, and one of them is that they are going to hold a tournament for Quake Live Duel and Capture the flag.
id Software also announced the prize money in their statement:
Quakecon is one of the biggest "Bring your own computer" LAN in North America, with over 3000 gamers attending at their pro tournaments with a big amount of cash in the prize pool. As said, the event will be held at the Gaylord Texan Center in Grapevine, Texas.
