Daniel "Miou" Holthuis leaves the SK Gaming brotherhood after 5 years of service to the cause.Daniel 'miou' Holthuis, one of the longest standing members of SK Gaming and once the six times winner of the EPS in Germany, has decided to leave the organisation.
The German became a benchmark for German Warcraft3 after his consecutive titles and although never reclaiming his former glory in the EPS, continued to be a regular participant in the offline finals. Daniel 'miou' Holthuis, despite leaving SK Gaming however, has explained he will continue his Warcraft3 career and we wish him the best of luck wherever he chooses to go.
"Today not only a player, but a true friend of SK is leaving the active roster of our team," said Alexander "TheSlash" Muller, managing director of SK Gaming. "Of course we are sad Daniel is moving on, but we know we will see him quite often as he is in Cologne now, too. With his six titles in a row Miou is a f**king legend for sure!"
TheSlash went on to say that "we wish him all the best for his active career and once he is finished playing, we will recognise him as one of our all-time greats for sure. Keep on fighting, Daniel, we shared great moments and I appreciate all of them! Do not forget the "Zopf des Todes" it will make you win!"
