GGL also known as Global Gaming League just announced the creation of the official GGL Quake Live league.

GGL are going to use the following modes in their leagues, 1v1, 4v4 Team Deathmatch, 4v4 Capture the flag and finally 4v4 Clan Arena. The registration are now open, and here follows a statement from the GGL-Admin

"Specific Game Rules for each game mode are currently being worked on and will be completely prior to league start. Due to some current site limitations, the schedule and standings will be setup on an external GGL site to be announced. All news posts, forum threads and updates will be posted here.

These leagues will be seasonal leagues and will be reset and ran again after champions are crowned and a short break. See Clanbase 'Cups' for examples.

REGISTRATION STARTS NOW! Please register in the proper Forum Thread."

If you're interested to parcitipate in the GGL Quake Live Super League, make your way here and let the action begin!

Also worth to mention, is that GGL has access to own private servers through id Software, that can and will be used, when playing in their leagues.
