Inflame's love affair with blizzcon continues

ImageWoah's WLD lineup just beat eDawgs on the main stage to become the first team to qualify for Blizzcon proper.

Last year's Blizzcon champion will have a chance to defend his title, albeit with a new team, after Woah claimed a spot in the top two. The warrior/warlock/druid team showed that their intense practice schedule pays off as they defeated their second rogue/mage/priest team of the event.

But although Patrick 'Inflame' Costales is the big name in the team, it was 'ocelote' who stole the show. Things started badly for the Spanish warrior as he was almost insta-gibbed in the first game, putting his team 0-1 down. But from there onwards it was all about the durability of WLD.

Ocelote played the typical defensive style of a warrior in early game patiently and saved his bladestorm for the absolute perfect opportunity in every game. Inflame's devours were practically instant and 'Kae' did an incredible job of keeping them up through the RMP burst.

Woah is now guaranteed a Blizzcon spot and is just one game away winning the regional finals outright. Edawgs will have a second chance to qualify, if they can overcome x6tence . But x6's form against RMP is strong right now, perhaps tipping the momentum in their favour. The Spanish cleave team already saw-off the likes of against All authority and even SK Gaming EUROPE in 3-0 fashion. SK didn't really get started until the third game, but even then it wasn't enough as they let two low-hp situations escape then.

The third place game will take place tomorrow morning at 11:45. The winner will claim the second and final spot at the Blizzcon finals in August.

SK's coverage, as ever, can be found via this link.
