Starting in Singapore, the torch relay will travel around 11 countries in 80 days to finally end up in Chengdu, China where WCG 2009 Grand Final is going to be hosted.

The online torch relay is aimed at "Lighting the Passion & Spirit of Cyber World" and this event will be held twice. The first period lasts from 26 June, 2008 to 3 August, 2009 and the second one is going to be held from 4 August, 2009, which ends on 13 September, 2009.
