Geh aB today announced that their Warcraft III squad merged with Bin-game, with the new team representing Geh aB for the time to come.
Following a series of “internal problems” as the press release reads, the Germans were initially in talk with Bin-game over a move for their Russia national team duo Nikita 'Nicker' Pomadov and Yuri 'Sting' Sheremetov. Geh aB eventually opted to merge with the NGL and WC3L contender instead, with the prospect of making their appearance on international stage too hard to turn down.
Tanja 'Midna' Grabow told Fragster.de, “We initially tend to look for one or two players as we made a bid to get Nicker and Sting. Our conversation with Bin-Game’s managers went fairly fast then and I think the picture is clear. We are now participating in the largest national and international team leagues: Bundesliga, WCIP, NGL and WC3L, and I think we will do well with our new line-up.”
The team let go of their Ukraine international Valentin 'Majestic' Kosorovcev a couple of days ago and his national team-mate Artem 'Tresh' Mosyakin followed suit today. Another omission from their latest squad that sticks in the eye is Sung Yeon 'Myth' Kim. The Korean joined Bin-game’s ESL profile last Wednesday, but he appears to be the only player in the team that is overlooked in this merger.
