Just recently ClanBase reported that they're hosting a Quake Live Capture the flag summer Cup, signups open the 20th of June and they end the 29th of June. The first matchweek starts the 12th of July.

ClanBase reported that they're not having the same old style with group play again, instead they're now heading straight into the playoffs with either Single Elimination (max 32 clans) or Double Elimination (max 16 clans) which is meant to be for each division.

The maps are still not decided and not all the rules are set yet, but we do know that the playstyle will be 4on4, with a timelimit of 20 minutes or a capture limit of 8, and finally no wildcards are available.
