IEF: Chinese qualifiers settled

Mousesports duo Xiang 'TH000' Huang and Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu as well as World Elite’s Xuwen 'infi' Wang and Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng qualified for this October’s International Esports Festival 2009.

The quarterfinals followed up shortly after the conclusion of the group stage, where Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li and his World Elite team-mate Kejing 'Like' Li could barely manage a third place in their respective groups.

Despite their exit, the Chinese heavyweights still have something to cheer for. Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng booked his place in the Global Final after defeat of Wenrui 'Kenshin' Zeng in less than 20 minutes. His team-mate Xuwen 'InFi' Wang was, however, made to work much harder to earn his own as he crawled back from a 0-1 deficit to see off Lin 'Wulin' Wu.

Mousesports players Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu and Xiang 'TH000' Huang sealed their passage as well after defeating Night elf players Hao 'suhO' Su and Nan 'ForDream' Xie respectively, whom did not lose any game in the group stage earlier. The tournament will continue tomorrow at 8:00 A.M local time.
