SK.Lyn wins BlizzCon Korea and picks up $5,000

June "Lyn" Park was already assured a place at BlizzCon 2009 when he qualified for the winner bracket final, but a 2-0 defeat of Chul Woo "Shy" Park has earnt him 1st place and $5,000.
In a previous mini interview here on SK Gaming June 'Lyn' Park outlined that playing only Elves was not a walk in the park for an Orc player. "I played only elves in this tournament, it is so hard for Orc," said Lyn.
"If you play Orc you will know that playing versus Night Elf is difficult, unless you have luck and good item drops, it is very hard." Lyn had already encountered Chul Woo 'Shy' Park in the upper-bracket final where he used the excellent item drops for Orc on Turtle Rock to his advantage to seal the deal.
In the second meeting in the Grand Final of the Blizzard Korea Regional Finals, Lyn once again got the better on map choice with Echo Isles and Turtle Rock, to claim a 2-0 victory over his fourth Elf opponent of the competition.
Lyn now will qualify for the BlizzCon Grand Finals in first seed, where he will be joined by three Europeans and two Americans which will be decided later this month in Cologne in the EU and US qualifiers.
