Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng of World Elite booked his place in GomTV World Invitational semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn in the crucial showdown in Group A.Zhuo 'TeD' Zeng and Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn tied at the second place in their group ahead of their match today and the winner would join previously undefeated Dae Hui 'FoV' Cho in the semi-finals, while Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li has already been eliminated after losing to HoT and TeD earlier.
HoT had a brilliant start in the opener at Twisted Meadows, well harassing TeD’s creeping with his level 3 Warden while levelling up his second hero Pandaren Brewmaster at the same time, but the Ukrainian made a deadly mistake when he intended to steal TeD’s item near the mercenary camp and lost both of his heroes in the process, and he failed to recover since then.
The second game at Terenas Stand progressed in virtually the same manner as the first game as both played mouse and cat game while fast teching to tier 3. However, the contrast of upgrade route was game-changing, since HoT’s bears did not help much against frost wyrms. Even though the Night elf player tried to counter with hippogryph, TeD killed the idea in its infancy.
In the following match, Sky avoided the same embarrassing scenario that happened in ESWC Masters of Cheonan and took consolation from a 2-0 victory over FoV. The defeat left the Korean veteran trailing behind TeD at the second place with concern to set difference.
The last round of Group B will kick off this Saturday with Manuel 'GrubbY' Schenkhuizen entertaining Xuwen 'InFi' Wang in the opening match, followed by the meeting between Korean pair June 'Lyn' Park and Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang.
The Dutch Orc player is currently at the driving seat with two wins out of two matches, but none of them is guaranteed with a place in the semi-finals. Despite lying at the bottom, Lyn would without doubt go for broke in his last-gasp attempt against rival Moon in a bid to force a tie-breaker should Grubby beat infi by any margin.

this one is better.
i think that's him :D
a. Ranked by most wins
b. Ranked by set points if the wins are the same
So I assume TeD is first. From GOM site.
In game2,HoT was looking very very strong again, his harrasement was phenomenal.TeD managed to pull out 2 frost wyrms(not frozen wyrms :)) and that was too much for hot to handle.Their dmg output along with coil/nova and corruption orb is...frightening.
In my opinion,HoT shouldnt have even bothered with trying to get some hyppos, cuz TeD already had a whole bunch of fiends with web.He should have tried pumping as many dryads as possible and detonated a couple of wisps in the beginning of the deciding fight to cripple the ever so deadly dk/lich combo.
