The first map was de_inferno where CT is supposed to be the easier side, but Team ALTERNATE only managed to get 5 rounds on CT which set them up for failure.

Following de_inferno Team ALTERNATE found themselves give up 7 rounds on T in the first half on de_dust2. Eight rounds on T side were obviously not enough at all which resulted in Team ALTERNATE losing the second map 16:10.

Having replaced Franz 'gore' Burghardt with Christian 'Blizzard' Chmiel, mousesports finally tasted the sweet revenge after their multiple defeats to Team ALTERNATE in 2009 and confirmed their first title this year.

The matches to decide the bronze medalist started prior to the Grand Final which n!faculty, who was the runner-up of last season, defeated ydk.me 16:14 on de_train and 16:10 on de_nuke.
