The German ESL Pro Series Season XIV has come to an end once again and the final event is taking place this weekend in Cologne. Four teams in Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Source, FIFA 2009 as well as four players in Warcraft III are not only fighting for the 130.000 Euros prizemoney but also for the crown of being the best German team. The teams have prepared well for this upcoming final event with Mousesports , Team ALTERNATE , and You Don't Know Me attending. Three of the teams have been part of the past three Pro Series Finals already where mousesports won the last two in a row defeating n!faculty in the Grand Final.
This time the finals are looking more even with mousesports slacking a bit over the year, Alternate gaining strenght and a motivated newcomer team with You Don't Know Me entering the competition. Also the tournament is being held in a Single Elimination with Best-of-Three now which has been changed since the last season.
But another big change will affect this seasons finals with ESL only providing ESL-TV to follow the whole weekend and no more HLTV being available. This means if you want to follow the matches at all, you will have to watch the ESL-TV Freestream with German commentating of for example David 'CHEF-KOCH' Nagel or Dennis 'styla' Schellhase.
Check out the tournament information to get an overview about the upcoming matches and times.

English is the world language not german keke?
Why? with HLTV you can watch everything you want, every player you want to watch at one moment or another and you are free to do what you want and go wherever you want to get the look you think is the best. With TV you are locked on shoutcaster's view and they generally don't pick the best actions or just go into every players' view without any reason.
Including the fact we only have German avalaible narrows the interest even more. We are locked on a view, and we don't understand what they will talk about. Yeah, well done, really.
When you host an event with top teams such as mousesports and Alternate, you should provide a better coverage.
The Korean Starcraft league don't offer one either (with exceptions ofccc) although it's regarded pretty professional.
Nevertheless I checked in ESL tv for about 5' in the mouz-match and the shoutcasters are basically talkin crap anyways flavoured with subjective excitment like teenagers have.
But yeah, I guess some germans would use the HLTV instead of the LQ stream and therefore they'd lose viewers. Still sucks though.
