Id Softwares' "Six new maps in six weeks" campaign has reached its fourth week. The map that was released today was no other then Blood Run, a map that has been a part of the quake dueling community since 1997.The map was first created by Sten 'ztn' Uusvali for Quake 1 as a homage to the map Gloom Keep. It was then remade for Quake 3 in 2000 and it has now been given a face lift and released for Quake Live as ztntourney1.
Being a loved map since its release it is still uncertain what big leagues like Clanbase will do, especially considering the growing voice of those that want to move away from old maps like Blood Run and instead see new ones used in tournaments.
