SK Gaming recently placed 5th amongst Europe's most elite Call Of Duty 4 Xbox 360 sides in a community vote by the competitive console scene's most prominent realistic FPS website, Decerto eSports.

Despite the result for May being an elevation for the side since April's rankings, they were not content sitting lower in the table than their rivals. This determination to prove their critics wrong very much shone through this evening as the EnemyDown COD4 Euro League (EDCOD4L) kicked off.

The EDCOD4L features 8 of Europe's best teams, very much representing the EU's COD4 cream of the crop. Tonight SK Gaming took on Team-Coolermaster, a team branded with top 3 status in Europe by community-heads for some time. The match was best of 3 maps but all played on the UK side's host; SK Gaming thus knew that extra effort was needed, and indeed they showed good resilience and team play winning the first map, Search and Destory on Vacant, 8-4.

The ball however, bounced right back into Team-Coolermaster's court on map 2 as the Brits battled out to win 362-287 over two rounds of Domination on Backlot, making it 1-1 overall going into the last map.

Sabotage on Ambush was the final map to be played, yet SK Gaming managed to hold their nerve and again demonstrating some excellent interplay took the two rounds 3-0 overall, giving SK Gaming a 2-1 victory on maps.
