As we reported earlier, Swedish player Christian 'floreNz' Shanahan decided to leave Alchemists due to some internal problems. As a result, the team was left with a four-man roster.

The biggest surprise at ESWC Masters of Cheonan had to use two stand-ins at the Dreamhack qualifier to fill the spot left by floreNz and replace Thomas "Vertigo" Andresen who could not attend the tournament.

With Azid and enoksen stepping in, Alchemists managed to grab the only wild card for Dreamhack Summer 2009 by defeating Visage 16:05 on de_nuke and 16:00 on de_inferno in Grand Final which opened the door for the duo.

Furthermore, it is also confirmed that Vertigo, who did not show up at Dreamhack Oslo, will not be in attendance at Dreamhack Summer 2009 either.
