ieS Virtual Gaming raise the stake for their bid to qualify for the up and coming season of WC3L as they signed the Korean duo Jin Woo 'WinNers' Kim and Jong Seok 'ReprisaL' Lee.
Jin Woo 'WinNers' Kim had his contract with mTw terminated last December together with his Korean compatriots Dae Hui 'FoV' Cho, Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee and Jin Woo 'Resolver' Lee ahead of NGL ONE Season 5 Finals, in which they won their first collective title over SK Gaming.
While FoV and Check were signed by Mousesports and nGize respectively thereafter, WinNers had been searching for a team since as the player described he was “emotionally depressed” in the process in an interview with Fragster this March.
After putting end to his prolonged quest for a new team, the Korean will lead the ieS cause as he relished the moment to GosuGamers, “After being a long time without team, I’m happy that I joined this serious organisation, now my motivation is quite better, I think I will show good result as fast as possible!”
Team manager Nikolay 'Slayer' Polezhaev added, “After we lost against nGize we thought that we really need a leader with good skill and ambitions, right now the WC3 scene have a lot of improved and skilled players.
“We watched the scene for a week and the ieS management made a decision that we need Winners! I think now we are ready to play next WC3L and NGL 3vs3 qualifier.”
Jong Seok 'ReprisaL' Lee parted company with his previous team All For One today when they merged with another Korea outfit aRirang, and became the fifth signing of the German club this month following Robert 'Rob' Abdrakhmanov, Igor 'Multick' Larionov, Vadim 'KPECT' Erokhov and WinNers.
