The best team in 2008, mTw.dk, will show up at this tournament. The five WCG champions failed to impress their fans on an international level after EM III Continental Finals Europe, so this will be the Danes' good chance to prove themselves again. The hardcore player Jonas 'whiMp' Svendsen can't attend this tournament due to schedule issue, as a result his spot is filled in by FaagaN from PlayZeek.

We can also see SoA in the participants list who seems to be in a very good shape recently, managing to grad the only wildcard at Dreamhack Copenhagen.

The Danish old school player Andreas 'KK' Andreassen will lead the team named as plaYer$ to try their luck at The Blast. Among his teammates, there is also a familiar face named Christian 'Paddy' Juhl.
